Hi, I’m Cole Hoing, a digital media creator focused on video production, motion graphics, and visual storytelling. I’m currently studying Digital Mass Media at Hawkeye Community College, where I’ve gained hands-on experience in editing, animation, audio production, and content creation across multiple platforms. I focus on taking ideas beyond the first version and working them into something that feels complete and intentional.

I created Scarlett Productions to give my work a clear direction. It brings everything I create into one place, from motion graphics and branding to long-form video projects. More than just a name, it reflects how I work. I stay focused on the details, take the time to refine, and make sure each project holds up from start to finish.

Perseverance is a big part of how I got here. I live with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and have gone through multiple surgeries with long recovery periods. Those experiences taught me patience and consistency in a real way. Progress was not always quick, but I kept moving forward. That mindset shows up in my work. I stay with projects when they get difficult and keep pushing until they reach a level I am proud of.

At the same time, boldness pushes my work further. I am not interested in creating something that blends in. I take creative risks, explore ideas fully, and make decisions that give each project its own identity while still keeping a strong level of control.

Before getting into media, I spent 10+ years working in the culinary industry. Working in several high-pressure kitchen environments, ranging from restaurant menu style, hospital, and catering for large and small events. Those experiences taught me how to stay sharp under pressure, manage time, and deliver consistent results when it matters most. It also built a strong attention to detail and accountability that I carry into every project.

I am continuing to grow as a creator, focused on building work that reflects both perseverance and boldness, while creating projects that feel intentional, refined, and built to last.
